Normal surgery resumes

If you require medical assistance when we are closed, you have a few options:

NHS 111: For urgent medical help or advice that isn't a life-threatening emergency, visit NHS 111 online or call 111. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Walsall Extended Access Hubs: Extra GP appointments are available on evenings and weekends, including bank holidays (usually 11:00 am - 1:30 pm). To book an appointment at a hub, please call the OurNet clinic on 01922 501999.

Urgent Care Centre: You can visit the Urgent Care Centre at Walsall Manor Hospital as a walk-in service for illnesses or injuries that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Emergency: In a genuine life-threatening emergency, you should call 999.

Mental Health Services

If Walsall's mental health services are closed, you can call the 24/7 Black Country Urgent Mental Health Helpline at 0800 008 6516 or text 07860 025 281 for immediate support. For emergencies, dial 999 or go to A&E. Other options include the Samaritans at 116 123, or going to the Walsall Sanctuary Hub during its opening hours of 6 PM to 11 PM on weekdays and 12 PM to 11 PM on weekends, located at 1 Queen's Parade, Bloxwich

Prescriptions

Please ensure that you order your prescriptions to cover you over the Christmas period. It is also recommended to check with your local pharmacy as many have varying opening times over the holiday period and these can offer advice on minor conditions.
